Objective:
Assisting the employer in all aspects of safety at work and accident prevention including humane working conditions.
Contents:
Advising employers on the:
- Planning, implementation and maintenance of installations and social and medical equipment,
- Procurement of technical equipment,
- Introduction of work processes and substances,
- Selection and testing of personal protective equipment,
- Layout of workstations, work processes and the workstation environment and other matters relating to ergonomics,
- Observation and implementation of safety at work and accident prevention by regular inspection of workplaces,
- Training the employees in the prevention or accidents and risks to health and appropriate behaviour,
- Holding safety at work committee meetings,
- Planning, designing and maintaining installations,
- Exploratory measurements: noise, light, air conditioning,
- Drawing up and updating hazard analyses,
- Drawing up work instructions.
Obligations:
Appointments based on minimum working time calculated according to §2 of the BGV A2 (employers‘ liability insurance association accident prevention regulation) for the appropriate company.
